You don’t need a perfect technique or top physical condition for this, but you can simply walk your first tracks, relax and get to know the what the fascination is with ski touring.

This easy, but beautiful skitours starts at the Gemmipass, which can be easily accessed by a cablecar starting from Leukerbad. It follows first a little plateau, where the beautiful scenery can be enjoyed, before the real ascent begins. Then, an agreable ascent begins and ends a few meters below the summit, where the skis can be left for the final climb, which is only recommended for those not afraid of heights . At the summit a breathtaking view down to Leukerbad can be enjoyed at the top

Follow the paths on the left side in the forest. Stay in the center of the valley until the Bois Bassi pasture (1950m). Go up until the last part of the forest (steep). With nth not binding reach to the pass. You descent same way.

The K2 Kranzbergroute is a ski touring trail on the Kranzberg in Mittenwald. Over about 3.7 kilometers and about 450 meters in altitude, the K2 Kranzbergroute leads from the valley station of the Kranzberg chairlift to the 1,391 meter high Kranzberg summit. Absolute nature experience in the midst of Karwendel and Wetterstein!

Approx. 60 km from Vienna – ideal for beginners or after work tours – natural snow area – no avalanche danger! Once a week there is a night tour appointment. Descent via the slope. There are four ascent variations of different length and intensity. This would be the ascent route from the parking lot Normalweg. A ski rental is also at the end of the parking lot, attention parking fee of about 5 € per car.
